So life has gotten pretty interesting around here these last few weeks. Ethan Drake Cannada was born on July 31st at a whopping 10 lbs 11 oz. He is absolutely precious and fits in perfectly. Emeri is smitten with her new baby brother... she's always wanting to hug and kiss him. Every time he cries she immediately runs to him and says "Ethan! What's wrong?!". They're a sweet duo... I can't wait to see how their relationship deepens in years to come.
I was so happy to have my mom here for two weeks! She was such a huge help with everything and I was sad to see her go. Tres goes back to work on Monday, so I will be left to care for Em and Ethan by myself (I would be lying if I said I wasn't a tad bit nervous!)
I will update a bit more later. It's time for Ethan's feeding and then off to bed for all of us.
